Owner \ Michael B. McGurk: Started company with John Engblom while still in high school in 1983. Mike takes great pride in this organization and our committment to our customers. He oversees all aspects of the office and field (with alot of help, as you'll see), and also does his fair share of estimating. Mike truly believes in our company slogan "Quality is never an accident!"
Operations Manager \ Gary McGurk: Has been with company since April 1986 and over the years had become one of our best working supervisors. Gary began to handle all scheduling and field supervision in July 1998, and has done a tremendous job. If there are any questions about who is supposed to show up and when, then Gary is the man to call. He runs a "very tight ship"!!
Senior Estimator \ David W. Peltz: Handles the majority of our estimating. Dave has been a very successful builder of homes in the past and joined forces with our company in 1996. David has been a tremendous asset to Bay Country. He has put in place a method of strategic planning and goal setting that has set our company apart.
Estimator \ John Weitzel: Started as a painter with our company many years ago. John had moved to Virginia Beach, and started his own paint company, Marlin Contracting. Being a native of Annapolis, he and his family missed their hometown and moved back in May 2000. John has displays a genuine concern for our customers that is unsurpassed. He truly has your best interest at heart.
Office Manager \ Sharon Polm: Has been running the BCP office since July 2003. Sharon is a wizard when it comes to getting things done. She handles all of the payroll and employee benefits. She runs our entire accounts payable department and types most of the proposals. She is a quick to respond to any customer concerns and is more than willing to help you with any question or dilema. With Sharon you can "expect results"!
Accounts Receivable and Job Cost Supervisor \ Debora Chambers: Since May of 2005, Debora has handled all aspects of setting up new jobs, accounts receivable, and job costing. She also completes all bank reconciliations and has a great part in getting the proposals completed and out in a timely fashion. Debora is a breath of fresh air, always has a smile for you and generally knows how to brighten up a room.
